During the walking tour, you’ll be able to get up close and personal (well, not that personal) with the cheetahs. Most people know cheetahs as the fastest animals in the world (0-60 mph in 3 seconds). You can tell by looking at their slender, muscular physique. They are built to run.
Different primate species also live on the preserve. It’s fun to watch the monkeys’ and lemurs’ behaviors as they go about their business.
An aviary houses various species of our feathered friends, such as the cranes and ostrich seen below. Careful where you walk in the aviary since birds may walk up right beside you!
Zebras are only some of the many large animals seen during the riding tour. You’ll also see Rhinos, Giraffes, and Wildebeests.
There are roughly 71 species of antelope in Africa! At the preserve, you won’t see all of them but there are quite a few, such as the Oryx pictured below.
The colors on this Madarin Duck are so vibrant! Mandarin Ducks are mainly found in the regions of East Asia and is similar to the Wood Duck species of North America.
The African Serval is one of the most fascinating big cats in the park. It looks a bit strange with its big body, small head, and large ears.
